May Day Bank Holiday Cream Tea

Come and join us on the May Day Bank Holiday Sunday when we will be running our Top and Tail trains throughout the day, with a Steam Engine on the front and a diesel engine at the rear.

If you would like to enhance your visit, we will be serving refreshments  in the recently restored Great Eastern Railway Royal Saloon, built in 1898. The carriage was specifically built for Princess Alexandra, wife of the future King Edward VII.

In the morning we will be serving coffee and cake, at lunchtime we will be serving a Ploughman's Lunch with a beer, a glass of white wine or an apple juice and in the afternoon we will be serving Alison's Cream Tea.

Space is limited to only 14 guests per train so early booking is advisable.

The Cream Tea is not recommended for children under 8 years old.

Unfortunately due its age and method of construction, we are sorry but the Royal Saloon is not accessible to wheelchair users..
